Doctor. Coach. Athlete. Built for Results.
I was raised in a home where nutrition and exercise were core values, shaping my understanding of health from an early age. My parents nurtured my curiosity—buying me my first computer at age 5—and I quickly developed a passion for both academics and athletics. My dedication led to multiple scholarships, allowing me to pursue my education at the University of Michigan.
While earning my degree in Biochemistry and Psychology, I supported myself through a wide range of jobs—substance abuse counselor, janitor, pizza delivery driver, alcoholism hotline operator, and waiter—each one teaching me discipline, empathy, and resilience.
Accepted into Wayne State University School of Medicine, I initially focused on Neurosurgery before discovering my true calling in Sports Medicine, where my love for human performance, fitness, and nutrition came full circle. Prior to med school, I also conducted research in Neuropsychopharmacology, deepening my scientific understanding of how the body and brain function at peak levels.
During my residency at St. Joseph Mercy, I began training and competing in powerlifting and bodybuilding. With a deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nutrition, I optimized my own performance while helping patients transform their health—many losing weight and eliminating the need for unnecessary medications.
Today, I find purpose and fulfillment in coaching others to achieve their fitness goals, improve their health, and unlock their true potential. Merging medical expertise with firsthand athletic experience, I deliver results that change lives—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
